The Free Church congregation of Scalpay is part of the Western Isles Presbytery of the Free Church of Scotland. In the congregation, there is a good mix of old and young. Most of the congregation live in Scalpay, with a few travelling from Tarbert which is five miles away.

Scalpay is a small island located near Tarbert on the east coast of Harris in the Western Isles. It is connected to Harris by a bridge which was opened by Prime Minister Tony Blair in 1998. You can get to Tarbert by Ferry via Uig in Skye or by plane to Stornoway in Lewis.

All services of Scalpay Free Church of Scotland take place in the local Church of Scotland building. All visitors are very welcome to worship with us and details of our services are given on the Diary page. In order to get to the Church of Scotland building, please drive through the village for about one mile until you see a church building on the right side of the road. Parking is available beside the church.
